An X bookmark is a pointer. It does not freeze the thread. Posts get deleted, accounts get locked, and a 20-post thread collapses into one thumbnail you no longer recognise.
Bookmarks also have no explanation. You saved it because post seven had the actual advice. The bookmark shows post one.
Keep the thread, not the notification
- Open the first post of the thread, not a quote-tweet of a quote-tweet. The original URL is the one worth storing.
- If the useful part is a single post in the middle, save that post’s link as well, or note which point mattered.
- Leave X. A bookmark you only revisit inside X competes with the timeline. A library you open on purpose does not.
X’s bookmark folder is still the fastest “I’ll read this on the train” pile. It is a bad archive.
What “unpacking” a thread means
A useful save of a thread has:
- The link, so you can reread the original if it is still up.
- The claims, in order, not a vibe.
- A tag you would type later: the topic, not the author’s handle.
- Optional: a draft of your own post, written from the idea, not pasted from the thread.
Copying someone’s thread into your drafts is not the goal. Keeping the idea so you can write your own is.
Where Yuri fits
Send the thread link to Yuri on Telegram, or click Save to Yuri under the post in Chrome. On Basic and Pro you get the text Yuri can read, an explanation, tags, and, if you ask, a draft for LinkedIn, X, YouTube, or TikTok. That draft is a start. You still edit it. Starter keeps the link only.
Ask Yuri, on Pro, can look across threads you have already saved. It cannot see bookmarks you never sent.
Published prices on 6 October 2026 are on the pricing section: free Starter (25 links a month), Basic at €4,99 a month or €49,99 a year (up to 400 links), Pro at €12,99 a month or €129,99 a year (up to 1,200 links).
