There is no single best bookmark manager. The useful question is what you are saving, and whether you want a catalogue of links or a short explanation you can find later.
This note compares tools by that split. It is not a ranking, and it does not invent scores. Prices below are the ones each company published on its own site, checked on 6 October 2026. Where a price was not on the page, it is left out.
What “AI” is doing
In this category the model usually does one or more of these:
- Summarise an article, PDF, or video.
- Suggest tags so you do not file by hand.
- Answer questions over things you already saved.
- Help you write something from a save.
None of that replaces reading the original when the original matters. It replaces the moment you reopen twelve tabs to remember which one had the point.
The tools, by job
Yuri is for public social posts and ordinary links, captured from Telegram or from Chrome. Basic and Pro turn a save into text or a transcript where available, an explanation, tags, and search. Pro adds Ask Yuri over your library. Starter is free for 25 links a month and does not include the AI. Published paid prices: Basic €4,99 a month or €49,99 a year, Pro €12,99 a month or €129,99 a year. Yuri is a weak choice if you want nested collections, highlights, or a full read-later app.
Raindrop.io is a bookmark manager first: unlimited bookmarks on the free plan, collections, tags, and highlights. Pro adds full-text search, a permanent copy, an AI assistant, and a larger upload allowance (the free plan is 100MB a month; Pro is 10GB). The US App Store lists Pro at $2.99 a month or $27.99 a year; the web checkout did not show a dollar amount when this page was reviewed. Full notes: Yuri vs Raindrop.
mymind saves into a visual space and organises without folders. Bookmarker is $4.99 a month and does not include AI. Student of Life is $7.99 a month or $79 a year. Mastermind is $12.99 a month or $129 a year and adds the advanced AI, summaries, and article backup. Full notes: Yuri vs mymind.
Readwise Reader is a reading app bundled with Readwise’s highlight-and-review product. It is not sold on its own. After a 30-day trial the published price is $9.99 a month billed annually, or $12.99 a month billed monthly. It is the better tool if you highlight articles, newsletters, and books. Full notes: Yuri vs Readwise Reader.
Recall is a knowledge base with a generous free read-later pile and 10 AI summaries a month on the free plan. Plus is billed yearly; the page did not show that dollar amount in a form this review could quote, so it is omitted here. Max is $38 a month billed yearly. Full notes: Yuri vs Recall.
Glasp starts from highlights on the web, PDFs, YouTube, and Kindle, which stay free. Paid plans add private highlights and more AI. One plan is $12.50 a month billed annually, or $15 month-to-month. Another is $30 a month, or $360 a year. Full notes: Yuri vs Glasp.
Matter is a read-later app for articles, threads, PDFs, and newsletters, with audio and highlights. This review does not quote a current price, because the public pages do not agree on one. Full notes: Yuri vs Matter.
How to choose
Pick a highlighter (Glasp, Readwise) if the unit of value is a sentence you marked. Pick a bookmark manager (Raindrop) if the unit is a URL in a collection. Pick a reading app (Matter, Reader) if you will sit and read. Pick Yuri if the unit is a social post you would otherwise lose, and you already live in Telegram or Chrome.
